Joe Petrock
Executive Director, Halifax Health Foundation
Joe Petrock is Halifax Health's
Executive Director, Foundation and Government Relations, joining Halifax Health
in 2002. He was previously the BellSouth Executive in charge of Volusia and
Flagler counties.
Mr. Petrock has served on the
boards or been President of twenty county organizations, ranging from the
Daytona/Halifax Area Chamber, Junior Achievement, FUTURES
Education Foundation for Volusia
County Schools, Florida
International Festival, United Way,
the March of Dimes, the United Negro College Fund to the Volusia Manufacturing
Association.
He has served as Chairman of the Board of trustees for Daytona
Beach Community College; served on the board of trustees for Bethune Cookman University; and is a past President of the Daytona
Beach Rotary Club.
Mr. Petrock has been recognized
for his civic involvement numerous times including the United Way Community
Service Award, March of Dimes, Florida Association of Community Colleges,
National Association of Community Leaders, The Daytona Halifax Area Chamber,
State School Board Association and most recently he received the USA Freedom
Corps Volunteer Service Award, presented to him by President George W. Bush
during his visit to Daytona Beach.
Mr. Petrock is a graduate of Daytona Beach Community College and Florida Tech.
